Mermie is the little voice behind FILET LACE BY THE SEA. She was born in the US, with the publication of the instruction book, in April 17, 2001. WHO IS MARIE-JO?
My name is MARIE-JO QUINAULT. I am from Québec (Canada). I speak, write and read French, English. FILET LACE is my passion. since 1983, I promote this unique stitch of Filet Lace: The Linen Stitch. I am a published author of an instruction book (item FL01): "Filet Lace - Introduction to the Linen Stitch", a well illustrated method with 3 levels of learning and 400 pictures, making it easier to learn all by yourself the almost forgotten basic stitch of Filet Lace, the Linen Stitch (le Point de Toile). It has never been done before.
