FILET LACE BY THE SEA was born in April 17, 2001 because of my filet-lacemaker friends in Canada and the United States. Some of them wanted the 'so rare' knotted net and the others wanted me to show them how to do it. Frustrated by the physical distance separating us and the lack of detailed information elsewhere, they asked me to share my "stash of netting" and to put my knowledge on paper. The result is a full time job that I love!!
