INTENSIVE CLASS FOR BEGINNERS 

Filet Lace is Embroidery on a Knotted Net, made by hand with a long blunt needle, on stretched netting, following a grid pattern on paoer.  Rarely demonstrated, this tecnique was very popular in the 16th century and the Victorian era; but is had been done a long-long time before the Egyptians!

In this class, I will teach you all that is necessary for you to produce a work from start to finish.  It will include my 3 levels method for the Linen Stitch and additional information on how to draw your own patterns.

  In this class, I will teach you how to follow a Filet Lace pattern. You will also learn how to prepare a project . Your project will be started, maybe finished.

The proposed schedule is:

• August 30 and 31, 2008
  From 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
  with 1 hours for lunch, relax and shopping in my boutique.
